Abstract

The relationship between the education system and the
productive system is neither simple nor linear, as one
might have assumed not so long ago. The term "fitness,"
often central to Education-Employment analyses, has lost
its magic power, and the explicit objective of
establishing a one-to-one relationship between
vocational training and jobs, aligning the
population along the diagonal of the training-employment
matrix, has lost its relevanc.
