ANALYSIS OF FACTORS IN STRATEGIC DECISION-MAKING BY DIRECTORS OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HEIs

Abstract
In the present article, an analysis of the variables that take part in the strategic decision making in the institutions of higher learning of seven universities of the state of Querétaro and Guanajuato is done. The study conjugates organizational variables and the manager variables. The results demostrate a strong correlation between the organizational objectives, ethic code, centralization, and the experience ofthe decision taker as well as the influence of their values.
