Clima Organizacional como Mediador entre Liderazgo y Calidad Educativa

Abstract

The objective of this article is to evaluate whether organizational climate mediates the relationship between managerial leadership and perceived educational quality in a TecNM institute. The method is quantitative and cross-sectional, with purposive sampling (n=350); the measurement model was validated (α, ω, CR≥0.70; AVE≥0.50; HTMT) and a simple mediation was estimated using PLS-SEM with 5,000 bootstraps, with convergent verification in PROCESS (Model 4). The results show that leadership predicts climate (β=0.64, p<0.001), climate predicts quality (β=0.42, p<0.001), and the indirect effect leadership→climate→quality is significant (β=0.27; 95% CI [0.18, 0.35]); R²(climate)=0.41, R²(quality)=0.63. The findings confirm climate as the mechanism that channels managerial influence into quality perceptions. The originality lies in demonstrating this mediation with an integrated measurement-model report in public Technological Higher Education. The limitations are the nonprobability sampling of a single campus and the cross-sectional design; probabilistic replication, multigroup analysis, and longitudinal studies are suggested.
