Administrative mimicry in education: a trap for modernization in the Third World?

Abstract

The events that have occurred worldwide over the past twenty-five years have shown that the idea launched by Marshal Tito was not merely a Third World illusion. More recently, with the 1972 UNCTAD meeting in Santiago, held by the "77," and the meetings of the non-aligned countries in Algeria and Lima, not to mention the growing oil crisis and the recent coups d'état (Chile, Afghanistan, Niger, etc.), we can see the intensity of the crisis in the Third World.
