Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present schematically some aspects of education financing that merit special attention when analyzing—in the current circumstances—the relationships between educational phenomena and the social environment in which they occur. In discussing each topic, the implications of the problems it entails will be noted. The aim, therefore, is to contribute to a discussion that will lead to the formulation of these problems within broader frameworks of reference than the approaches frequently used in the available literature.
