Towards a comprehensive assessment of higher education

Abstract
The higher education evaluation process launched at the General Assembly of the National Association of Universities and Higher Education Institutions (ANUIES) held in July of this year will not only contribute to the institutions that provide this education better understanding of themselves, or to society having more objective information about the conditions in which they operate; it should also be aimed at identifying and designing strategies aimed at ensuring that these institutions increasingly meet the requirements of society as a whole.
