Abstract

This article contains a bibliographic review, basically from the Annals of Tourism Research, of authors who address the tourism phenomenon on different topics, such as: growth factors, consequences of said growth, absorption capacity, tourism planning, anthropological approach and the sociological approach to tourism.

Certified Public Accountant. She holds a Master's degree in Sociology. She is currently researching "Development or evaluation of the stock market in Mexico."
