Abstract

Regionalization and integration: the challenge for graduate studies in Latin America. Globalization and marginalization: a future foretold.
Many thinkers, philosophers, and theorists from different disciplines agree that the world is currently undergoing a period of transformation from which a global community will emerge that is different from the one that has prevailed in recent decades.

Author Biography

JORGE VIDALES, National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico

Full-time researcher and professor of strategic management in the graduate section of the School of Commerce and Administration (ESCA) of the National Polytechnic Institute (I.P.N.), where he obtained his Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees, specializing in administrative sciences. He has worked as an external consultant for various public sector institutions and is the founding director of the firm "Consultores en Alta Direccion" (High Management Consultants), which provides high-level management consulting services to various public and private sector companies. He has conducted various research projects on planning, economic and social aspects, and education. He has published in newspapers and magazines and has also participated as a speaker at various companies, higher education institutions, and various business chambers, as well as Rotary clubs and academic organizations.
