EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND OF SENIOR MANAGERS OF LARGE COMPANIES

Abstract
This document contens a theoretic discussion about the educational and functional backgrounds of top managers in big companies. The main existing literature in this campus is summarized and anallzed and some opinions and conclusions are offered.
The idea of this paper is to find the possible most meaningful relations between the top executives' demographic characteristics (concretely; scholarship levels, field of specialization and functional experience) and the companies perfomance. Through the present article, also will be posssible to know the sense in which these variables affect the organizational life.
In short, the work enhances the importance of that firm takes into account such executives backgrounds for getting the best results in the managerial practice.
