Abstract

This article reports the findings of the last thirty years in organizational theory. This report begins where most texts on this subject end. Contingency Theory. In addition . the contributions of three outside disciplines are considered: Sociology, Economics and Political Science. These theories cover most of the administrative practices that comprise the modern world in businesses

LUIS ARTURO RIVAS TOVAR, National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico

He holds a PhD in Administrative Sciences from the National Institute of National Research (IPN) in Mexico and a PhD in European Studies from the Ortega y Gasset University Institute in Spain. He is a Professor-Researcher, Director of the Center for Research in Administrative Sciences, and Coordinator of the Master's in Business Administration at the School of Commerce and Administration of the National Institute of National Research (IPN). He is also a visiting professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid in Spain. He is a National Researcher (Level I). His research interests are: Strategic Management and Organizational Theory.
