Abstract

Sustainability has achieved greater relevance in recent years, this is how companies have directed their actions towards sustainability. The objective of this article is to analyze the economic aspect of sustainability and its effect on the supply chain in the sugar industry of the Veracruz Huasteca, 3,182 producers were studied, through the quantitative research method using the correlation technique, using the Stata software, the results show a relationship between the variables Production and R&D, Labor, Capital and Transportation, the main finding is that there is compliance on the part of the companies installed in the area, this work has the originality of being carried out in a little studied context and with great impact on the national economy within the limitations is that only a particular region of Mexico and some variables of economic sustainability were studied.
