Complex Index for Air Quality and Sustainability Management

Abstract

The objective of the research was to evaluate the management of air quality and sustainability in five cities of Guanajuato, observing the indicators of Air Quality Management. The research method is mixed qualitative and complex systems. The results are the Qualitative Variation Index and the Code Co-occurrence Index to evaluate management. The findings are synthesized into a complex management position discussion index. The originality is in the measurement of functions, strategies and management indicators with a holistic approach from complex systems. Its limitation is that only validate the measurement of management, leaving for future studies to integrate the index with other models to evaluate the efficiency in the control of emissions and sustainability.
