Resumen
El nuevo orden mundial caracterizado por la globalización económica, el desarrollo científico y tecnológico y la intemacionalización de los mercados ha generado nuevas condiciones para las sociedades contemporáneas. Estas nuevas condiciones ejercen fuertes impactos sobre los sistemas educativos que los obligan a redefinir los ciclos, la curricula y las metodologías de los estudios que imparte. En esta situación y orientada a la formación de los profesionales que demanda la sociedad se han iniciado procesos de transformación de las Casas de Estudio tanto en sus relaciones con el exterior como hacia el interior, particularmente, hacia la concepción y desarrollo de la propia formación profesional.
