Resumen

Este artículo presenta una visión estratégica de la incertidumbre ambiental para organizaciones con fines de lucro. Sostiene que los gerentes toman decisiones que, en ocasiones, resultan en la creación agresiva de incertidumbre ambiental. Un modelo propuesto sugiere que, si bien la estrategia, la estructura y el desempeño constituyen procesos de implementación ambiental, el entorno también influye directamente en el desempeño organizacional. Además, el desempeño de otros influye en el entorno a través de acciones individuales y colectivas.
