ANTECEDENTES DE LA ROTACIÓN VOLUNTARIA DE PERSONAL

Resumen

A fin de comprobar un modelo de rotación de personal aplicable a empresas mexicanas similares, la investigación consistió en la aplicación de un cuestionario a 142 empleados de cinco sucursales (Cuernavaca, Mor., Toluca, Mex., Pachuca, Hgo., San Juan del Río, Qro. y Tlaxcala, Tlax. ) de una institución financiera mexicana. Los resultados obtenidos apoyan las hipótesis planteadas, ya que la búsqueda de empleo se relaciona significativa y negativamente con la intención por permanecer (r = -
.65 y p < .01); el compromiso organizacional afectivo se relaciona significativa y negativamente con la búsqueda de empleo (r = -.54 y p < .01) y el apoyo organizacional percibido se relaciona significativa y positivamente con el compromiso organizacional afectivo (r = .62 y p < . 01). De acuerdo al modelo originalmente propuesto y mediante un modelamiento de ecuaciones estructurales se encontró que la rotación voluntaria de personal es antecedida secuencialmente por el apoyo organizacional percibido, compromiso organizacional Afectivo, búsqueda de empleo e Intención por permanecer (Ji cuadrada =
