DESEMPEÑO COMPETITIVO DEL SECTOR AGROINDUSTRIAL EN EL ESTADO DE MICHOACÁN AGRO INDUSTRY COMPETITIVE PERFORMANCE IN MICHOACAN'S STATE

Resumen
This article presents the results of an investigation conducted to export agribusiness processed food
products in the Michoacan's state. The objective is to determine the impact of quality, price,
technological innovation, environmental management, market and public policy international
agribusiness competitiveness of agribusiness of Michoacan. We performed a theoretical review, which
identified the variables and found that studies have been performed in Michoacan agribusiness, are
few. So, the article provides an input for decision-making in the design of public policies in the
agribusiness sector. In order to measure competitiveness, we used a questionnaire consisting of 80
items was applied to 51 exporters companies identified in the sector. For the processing of information
was used Likert Scale type. Once the information is processed using different programs and statistical
techniques (correlation analysis, linear regression, etc.). With the results identified the correlation
between the variables, the variable protruding market. It was also found that there is competition in the
sector, except for the agro-industrial policies showed a low competitiveness.
