Dr. Luis Arturo Rivas Tovar

He holds a PhD in Administrative Sciences from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) and is a PhD candidate in European Studies at the Ortega y Gasset University Institute in Spain. He completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship with the Organization Engineering Group at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. As an international consultant, a highlight of his career is his work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a member of the team led by Dr. Mario Molina, the 1995 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry.
He has served as Director of the Center for Research in Administrative Sciences at ESCA-IPN and of the European Institute of Management, as well as Strategic Projects Coordinator at the Mario Molina Center and Editor-in-Chief of the journal *Investigación Administrativa* (indexed in the SECHET Journal Classification System at the highest "consolidated" level).
He is a professor at the IPN and a Level III National Researcher. Additionally, he chaired the Social Sciences Evaluation Committee of the National System of Researchers (SNII) for the 2023–2024 term.
He is the most-cited researcher worldwide on Google Scholar in the fields of Organization Theory and Researcher Training. Furthermore, he ranks second globally in Strategic Management and fourth in Complexity Management, with 4,800 citations and an h-index of 64. He has received the ResearchGate distinction as the most-read scientist across all fields of knowledge in Mexico on eight occasions, amassing over 1,058,000 readers and placing in the top 1% of the 25 million researchers worldwide.
